Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra and romantic hero, Shahid Kapoor were spotted watching the India vs South Africa opening T20 match together at the spectators' gallery in Durban on Sunday. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are here together with Kolkata Knight Riders' owner, Shah Rukh Khan and Slumdog Millionaire-star Anil Kapoor to perform at an event to celebrate 150 years of India-South Africa friendship. The event is being held in commemoration of the arrival of the first Indian labourers in 1860 to work on the sugarcane plantations in South Africa. Several South African artistes like Liquideep, Locnville, Drum Cafe, HHP, and 1st Project are also scheduled to perform at the event where Sachin Tendulkar and Makhaya Ntini - two great stalwarts of cricket from India and South Africa will be felicitated.
However, the photos of Shahid and Priyanka cosying up at Durban's Moses Mabhida stadium are sure to add fuel to the current gossips about the two getting engaged. This is likely to be Shahid's first serious relationship after getting ditched by Kareena Kapoor for Saif Ali Khan. Recently, Shahid was shooting for his dad's film 'Mausam' in Chandigarh from where the cute hero went over to Goa to celebrate New Year's eve over a dinner with Priyanka and her family.
